Description

The course builds upon the concepts and techniques introduced in the 1st and 2nd Year of Dynamics ( MEC134 and MEC 201). The purpose of the course is to extend the concepts undertaken in the second year which dealt with SDOF systems to 2DOF and more general systems. The course shows how to model and analyse vibration of typical engineering structures working in different environments. The course also provides an introduction to the subject of acoustics.
